Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cloud Strife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hughes has chosen tvs air wolf as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strife looks to clinch
and Hughes counters with a leg kick.
Hughes looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Hughes misses with a kick to the body
and Strife counters with a nice body kick.
Strife misses with the combination.
Strife throws a head kick that misses.
Strife shoots in looking for a takedown but Hughes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Strife's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Strife shoots for a double leg takedown but Hughes sprawls well. He's pushed Strife's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Strife closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hughes's guard.

Strife dives in and grabs Hughes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hughes pushes down on Strife's head and hops out.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hughes enables Strife to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hughes manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Hughes is working an open guard so Strife takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Strife connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hughes. Hughes circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Strife fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hughes sprawls well initially but Strife persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Strife closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

and Hughes counters with a three punch combo that has Strife backing up. Strife nods at Hughes to acknowledge the strikes.
Hughes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Strife moves away.

Strife shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hughes manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
