The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast moves out of range as Pickerinzo throws a body kick.
Pickerinzo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Beast throws a series of punches but Pickerinzo avoids them all with ease.
Beast shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Pickerinzo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Beast!
Beast tries to hold on but Pickerinzo pushes him away.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Pickerinzo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Beast wants to get back to his feet.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pickerinzo connects with a nice short shot to Beast's temple.
Pickerinzo is taking a breather. Beast says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Pickerinzo wants to get back to his feet.

Beast moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Beast has his feet on Pickerinzo's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Pickerinzo blocks a head kick by Beast.

Beast darts in and clinches Pickerinzo up against the cage.
Beast misses with the head strike.
Beast prevents a takedown attempt there.
Beast is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
The crowd are getting on Beast's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

The referee calls for Beast to work.
Beast misses with some punches.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Pickerinzo just misses with a elbow thrown towards Beast's brow.

Pickerinzo stuffs the takedown attempt from Beast. Beast gets slowly back to his feet.

Beast shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Beast looks to land a strike but Pickerinzo avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

A close second round but Savage Beast will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Beast changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pickerinzo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pickerinzo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Beast wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Beast throws a body punch but Pickerinzo moves out of range.

Beast closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Beast is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Beast is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Pickerinzo gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Pickerinzo can't get the takedown.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Pickerinzo drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Beast gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Beast just leaning against Pickerinzo, taking a breather.

Beast is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Pickerinzo postures up in Beast's guard and throws a big left but Beast blocks it.
Samei Pickerinzo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Beast controls Pickerinzo momentarily but Pickerinzo frees himself.
