The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patrone misses with a takedown attempt
and Panicaci counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Panicaci misses with a hook
and Patrone counters with a straight right hand.
Patrone wants to clinch but Panicaci slips to the side
and Panicaci counters with a nice double leg into side control. Patrone won't be happy with that.
Panicaci is looking to take a break and control but Patrone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Panicaci lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Patrone down.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Cash Patrone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Panicaci connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Patrone displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Panicaci throws out the jab.
Patrone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Patrone has his takedown stuffed
and Panicaci counters with a straight right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Patrone misses with an attempted mid kick.
Patrone closes the distance looking to clinch
and Panicaci counters with a huge left! Patrone is in big trouble! He's backing up but Panicaci isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Patrone from any more damage. A dominating finish by Panicaci!
