Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reggie Kray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gypsy Nirvana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reggie Kray has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Reggie Kray! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gypsy Nirvana! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kray is looking to score with low kicks. Nirvana shoots in looking for a takedown. Kray tries to sprawl out of it but Nirvana keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kray manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kray scores with a leg kick.
Nirvana checks the leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nirvana checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Kray swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kray dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Nirvana. That did some damage! Kray throws a leg kick that misses. Kray throws a leg kick which misses Nirvana's front leg but catches the back leg as Nirvana tries to avoid it. Nirvana takes the fight into the clinch. Kray pushes Nirvana back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Nirvana misses with a hook to the ribs.
Kray has Nirvana pressed against the cage, preventing Nirvana from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Nirvana is trying to break the clinch but Kray is controlling him. Kray misses with a punch to the body.
Kray misses with an elbow over the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kray fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kray scores a nice knee to the body.
Kray connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Gypsy Nirvana has been cut. Kray throws a head punch that misses. Kray misses with some punches.
Nirvana blocks an elbow strike from Kray.
Kray with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Kray throws an elbow but it misses.
Nirvana tries to break free but Kray pushes him back against the cage. Nirvana manages to break the clinch.
Reggie Kray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kray misses with a low kick.
Kray fails in his attempt to clinch. Kray throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Nirvana to counter with a crisp jab. A head kick misses from Kray.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kray looks for the body kick but Nirvana saw that one coming. Nirvana misses with a body shot
and Kray counters with a head kick. Kray scores with a nice head shot. Kray is looking to clinch but Nirvana is avoiding it.
Reggie Kray is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kray fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Nirvana.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nirvana has managed to clinch.
Nirvana breaks the clinch.
Kray throws a wild body kick that Nirvana sees coming a mile off. Kray scores with a leg kick.
Kray misses the shot to the body. Kray fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Nirvana misses with an uppercut
and Kray counters with a head kick. That will keep Nirvana thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Reggie Kray dominated that round. The cut man is working on Gypsy Nirvana's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kray misses with a hook. Kray connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Nirvana has closed the distance and engaged Kray in a clinch.
Kray lands a body punch. A short uppercut from Kray. Kray lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Nirvana or not. Kray throws a punch but it's blocked by Nirvana. Nirvana manages to break the clinch.
Kray uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nirvana.
Nirvana is breathing heavily. Kray throws a low kick but it's checked well by Nirvana.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nirvana moves out of range as Kray strikes. Kray throws a hook to the side of Nirvana's head but Nirvana sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A nice leg kick lands there from Kray. Kray attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Nirvana shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kray as he jumps to the side. Kray connects with a crisp jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kray wants to clinch and Nirvana counters with a right hand to the body. Nirvana blocks a leg kick. Kray tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Nirvana counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kray thinking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kray throws a head kick but Nirvana moves out of range.
Nirvana with a nice cross. Nirvana takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Nirvana blocks a head kick by Kray.
Kray misses with a hook.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nirvana has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kray. Nirvana misses with a body punch
and Kray counters with a good low kick that Nirvana was not able to check. Kray throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Nirvana slips a jab from Kray. Kray lands a high kick!
Kray lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Reggie Kray dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Gypsy Nirvana's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
A clash of legs there as Nirvana blocks the low kick. Nirvana misses the body punch and Kray counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Nirvana is lucky that one didn't land flush. Nirvana avoids the head kick by Kray.
A low kick from Kray misses and Nirvana counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kray blocking the ground and pound attempt from Nirvana. Kray is trying to get back to full guard. Kray is staying active underneath Nirvana, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nirvana uses his free foot to push down on Kray's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kray. Nirvana has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Nirvana lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Kray hang on? Nirvana working Kray over with strikes here. Nirvana cracks Kray with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nirvana misses with a head shot. Kray knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nirvana on the ground. Nirvana controlling the pace for now. Nirvana working Kray over with strikes here.
Kray is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nirvana cracks Kray with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
