Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dog Catcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Barker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Travis Barker is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dog Catcher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Travis Barker! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Catcher will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Barker throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Catcher counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Catcher postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Catcher with a nice head shot there. Catcher scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Catcher lands a couple of decent looking shots. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Barker is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Catcher advances to half guard. Catcher seems to be looking for submissions.
Catcher is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Barker defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Catcher. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Catcher takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Catcher looking for the choke from the back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Catcher lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Barker.
Barker looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Catcher lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
That's one minute gone in the round. Catcher is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Barker has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Catcher is breathing heavily. Barker controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Barker is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Barker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Good control from Catcher. Catcher has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Catcher tries to keep control of the position but Barker is staying busy. Barker wants to get back to his feet. Catcher has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Catcher looking for the choke from the back. Barker is trying to stand back up. Catcher is looking for the choke from the back position but Barker is controlling his hands well. Catcher is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Barker knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Barker for a finish. Barker is trying to defend against the choke here but Catcher has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Catcher Tightens the hold and Barker taps out furiously! Catcher displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
