The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nightingale fails with the takedown
and Johnson counters with a big head kick but Nightingale shrugs it off.
Nightingale has his takedown stuffed
and Johnson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Johnson.
Johnson lands an elbow that stopped Nightingale in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like Basil Nightingale has been cut.
Johnson lands an elbow inside.
Johnson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Johnson closes the distance but Nightingale moves to the side
and Nightingale counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
