Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Vucinic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by kung fu fighting. Vucinic has chosen Destroy Destroy Destroy - To Die Without Honor/The Winged Panther as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Matthew Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vucinic circles away.
Vucinic wants to clinch
and Jones counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Jones working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Jones wanted to stand there but Vucinic had control of the position.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Vucinic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jones's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Vucinic kicks Jones off and gets to his feet.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt
and Jones counters by clinching up.

Vucinic takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Vucinic gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Vucinic looks to land a combination. Jones sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Vucinic throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Mirko Vucinic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vucinic clinches.

Jones wants to break the clinch but can't.
Vucinic gets underhooks to prevent Jones's takedown attempt.

Vucinic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Jones dodges the punch combination from Vucinic.

Vucinic moves to clinch but Jones breaks away
and Jones counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jones.
Jones forces his way into half guard.
Vucinic is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Vucinic wants to improve his position but Jones is controlling well.
Jones passes the guard and advances to mount!

Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jones won't let Vucinic get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
