The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lorenz swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Ryti to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Menno Lorenz has been cut.
Lorenz swings widly with a right hand
and Ryti counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Lorenz tries to circle away but Ryti has him pinned against the cage.
Ryti gets underhooks to prevent Lorenz 's takedown attempt.
Lorenz wants to break free but Ryti has control.
Ryti utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Lorenz is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ryti pushes Lorenz back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Lorenz takes a shot to the head.
Ryti breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lorenz misses with a left hand
and Ryti counters with a two punch combo.
Lorenz throws an off balance right hand
and Ryti moves into the clinch.
Ryti lands with a left to the head.
Ryti drops Lorenz onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Lorenz is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Lorenz is rocked!
Ryti creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Lorenz with a big uppercut! Lorenz tries to clinch up but Ryti pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Lorenz to the mat! Lorenz covers up and Ryti unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Timo Ryti!
