The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nys is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nys works Griffin's body with a nice hook.
Nys loads up on a big right hand but Griffin slips the punch.
Nys connects with a high kick.
Nys moves in looking to clinch but Griffin pushes him off.
Nys closes the distance and lands a one-two.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nys is defended easily by Griffin.
Nys tries for a takedown but Griffin circles away easily
and Griffin counters with a left and a right that stings Nys.
Nys tries to clinch but Griffin moves out of range.
Nys wants to clinch.

Nys wants to clinch up but Griffin keeps it at a distance.
Griffin shoots in for a takedown but Nys shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nys thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Griffin if he has to take too many more of those.
Nys doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Griffin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rey Griffin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Nys.
Griffin tries to keep at a distance but Nys has taken the fight into the clinch.
Griffin breaks the clinch.
Nys buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Griffin digs a good hook to Nys's body.
Nys looks gassed!
Nys is looking to clinch.
Griffin lands with a right that hurts Nys. Nys looks to clinch but Griffin throws a short knee that drops Nys. This one is all over!
