Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Parts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Parts!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels takes one on the button.

Michaels clinches with his opponent.
A right hook to the body lands for Parts.
A hook to the body from Parts.
Parts lands with a left to the head.
Michaels misses with a hook from the clinch.

Parts breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Parts rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Michaels moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Parts misses with a wild body shot.
Some bone on bone action there as Michaels checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Parts scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Michaels checks a leg kick.
Michaels tries to land a front kick but Parts steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Parts throws a head kick that misses.
Parts throws a sloppy head kick and Michaels moves out of range easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Michaels.
Michaels avoids the head kick by Parts.
Michaels fails in his attempt to clinch.
Michaels looks to land a combination but Parts avoids it well.

Parts drives through and clinches with Michaels against the cage.
Nice body punch from Parts.
Michaels misses with a hook from the clinch.

Parts breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Parts closes the distance and clinches.

Michaels swings wildly with an uppercut but Parts uses good head movement to avoid it.

Parts escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A head kick by Parts misses

and Michaels counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Parts breaks the clinch.

Parts closes the distance and pushes Michaels back into the cage.
Parts lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Michaels goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Parts is working Michaels over against the cage.
Michaels tries a body shot but Parts blocks it.

Parts escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Michaels - that will leave a mark!
Michaels with a poor takedown
and Parts counters with a left and a right that stings Michaels.
Michaels is breathing heavily.
Parts lands a front kick.
Michaels shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parts as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shawn Michaels. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Parts changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Parts takes the fight into the clinch.

Parts escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Parts fails to land with a series of punches.
Parts scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Oooooh!!! Parts has knocked Michaels down with a huge combo! Parts steps away and waves a wobbly Michaels back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Michaels is rocked!
Parts is stalking Michaels. Michaels circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Parts, and it's lights out! Michaels really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
