Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Goive (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Charles Goive!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Peter Parker!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker with a poor takedown

and Goive counters with a nice double leg into side control. Parker won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parker is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Goive thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Goive wants to control but Parker is keeping him busy.
You can see the frustration on Parker's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Goive is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Parker is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Parker is trying to improve his position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Parker can't do much from the bottom here.
Goive throwing strikes but Parker manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
You can see the frustration on Goive's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Parker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Goive is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Parker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Goive, who protects the arm well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Parker looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Goive tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Parker wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Goive manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Goive trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Parker manages to pass to mount!
Parker has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Goive's face.
Parker pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Parker lands with some strikes.
Goive knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Parker on the ground.

Parker goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Goive is on top in guard.
Parker keeping moving, preventing Goive from controlling successfully.
Goive tries to free his leg and advance position but Parker is retaining full guard.

Parker is trying to keep Goive in close.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Parker is on top in guard.
Parker pushing down on Goive's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Goive trying to control but Parker postures up.
Goive is breathing heavily.
Goive blocking the ground and pound attempt from Parker.
Parker is trying to control the action in half guard but Goive is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Goive is trying to control but Parker passes into side control!

Parker stands up.

Parker shoots in and bounces Goive off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peter Parker dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Goive gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Parker counters with a single leg into guard. Goive didn't expect that.
Parker is in close to Goive's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Goive is trying to control the position but Parker postures up.

Parker gets to his feet - Goive follows without any prompting.
Parker wants to clinch

and Goive counters with a takedown into side control.
Parker is trying to control Goive's posture but Goive avoids it.
Parker is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Goive's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Parker keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Goive with the ground and pound but Parker uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Parker is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Parker wants to sweep but no luck.
Goive might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Parker is looking to sinch up a triangle. Goive throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Parker's body to avoid the submission. Parker has instead reached around Goive's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Parker arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Peter Parker!
