PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Euringer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnny Turk told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jimmy Euringer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Euringer fails to land with a series of punches.
Euringer moves forwards but Turk connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Nice cross by Euringer.

It looks like Johnny Turk has been cut.
Turk fails with a takedown attempt.
Turk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Turk tries to clinch up but Euringer circles away and keeps his distance.
Turk shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Euringer pinned against the cage. Euringer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Turk throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Euringer.

It looks like Jimmy Euringer has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Turk fails with an attempt to clinch.
Turk lands with a hook. Euringer tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Euringer lands a right hook to the body.

Euringer feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Turk sprawling to the canvas! Turk rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Euringer finish him?!
Euringer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Turk throws the left hand but Euringer avoids the punch easily.

Turk misses with a takedown attempt - Euringer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jimmy Euringer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Turk.
Turk looks gassed!
Turk lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Euringer steps in with a hook that catches Turk right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Euringer follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Turk looks absolutely devastated.
