Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lewis scores with a shot to the body.
Tanner throws out a loose jab but Lewis uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tanner connects with a looping right hand.
Tanner takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Tanner takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tanner drops his hands momentarily and Lewis takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Lewis throws a series of punches but Tanner avoids them all with ease.
Alf Tanner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lewis scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tanner doesn't seem bothered though.

Tanner throws a body punch but Lewis moves out of range.

and Lewis counters with a three punch combo that has Tanner backing up. Tanner nods at Lewis to acknowledge the strikes.

Lewis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Tanner fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lewis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tanner takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Tanner takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tanner takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Lewis jabs Tanner to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lewis scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tanner doesn't seem bothered though.
Lewis connects with a right hand. Tanner shakes it off.
A jab-cross combination lands for Lewis and sends Tanner crashing to the mat! Lewis follows him down to the mat - Tanner regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Tanner is rocked!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Lewis is controlling the pace.
Oh Tanner is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lennon Lewis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tanner connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lewis's hands.

Lewis tries to move into range but Tanner moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Tanner lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Lewis uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tanner.

Lewis throws the left hand but Tanner avoids the punch easily.

Lewis throws a nice looking combination but Tanner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lewis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tanner manages to avoid it.
Lewis is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Tanner rather than just go for the knockout.

Lewis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tanner throws out the jab.
Lewis shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tanner eats them both and turns towards Lewis to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Tanner is rocked!
Lewis swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Tanner.
Oh Tanner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tanner throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lewis counters with a crisp right that sends Tanner to the canvas! Lewis follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lennon Lewis!
