Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ingo Pavlik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Purple From Down Under (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ingo Pavlik looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ingo Pavlik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, The Purple From Down Under! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! From Down Under misses with a head kick.
Pavlik throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Pavlik on the wrong end of a nice hook. From Down Under circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pavlik throws a right hand that From Down Under ducks under and follows up with a left that From Down Under also avoids with ease. From Down Under throws an off balance right hand
and Pavlik counters into the clinch. Nicely done. A right handed body shot lands from Pavlik.
From Down Under keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Pavlik's efforts to push away. The referee is keeping an eye on From Down Under - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
From Down Under lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Pavlik backwards. From Down Under is trying to drag Pavlik to the mat but Pavlik just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Pavlik prevents a takedown attempt there.
From Down Under keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Pavlik's efforts to push away. From Down Under pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. From Down Under feints and then cracks Pavlik's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pavlik down. Pavlik wants to clinch and Pavlik takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pavlik closes the distance but From Down Under moves to the side and From Down Under counters with a nice low kick that buckles Pavlik's knee momentarily. Pavlik is breathing heavily. From Down Under avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
From Down Under just misses with a punch to the body.
Pavlik tries to close the distance and clinch up but From Down Under swats him away and circles back towards the center. From Down Under sizes up Pavlik with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Pavlik misses with a series of wild punches.
Pavlik takes one to the chin there. From Down Under scores with a jab to the body. Ingo Pavlik is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd cheers as From Down Under lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pavlik doesn't seem phased though. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A jab from From Down Under does it's job there. From Down Under moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. From Down Under delivers a nice body kick. From Down Under closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pavlik's guard. From Down Under is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Pavlik on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pavlik tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. From Down Under lands a couple of digs. From Down Under passes into half guard. From Down Under missing with the ground and pound from half guard. From Down Under seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pavlik does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. From Down Under lands a nice short elbow. From Down Under landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Ground and pound from From Down Under. Pavlik avoiding damage under a succession of punches from From Down Under. From Down Under thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pavlik's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pavlik wants to get back to his feet.
Pavlik has hold of From Down Under's hands but From Down Under slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. From Down Under sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pavlik defending well though. From Down Under wants to control but Pavlik is keeping him busy. From Down Under throwing shots but Pavlik is blocking nicely. From Down Under working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Pavlik knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for From Down Under on the ground. From Down Under working over Pavlik with some ground and pound. Pavlik looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. From Down Under maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Pavlik could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but From Down Under has cracked it and Pavlik is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by From Down Under!
