Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Cerrone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Tyson jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cerrone scores with a hook to the body. Tyson jr takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Cerrone misses with a jab to the body
and Tyson jr counters with a stiff right hand. Cerrone fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Stephen Cerrone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cerrone with a lazy takedown attempt and Tyson jr decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cerrone's guard. Tyson jr is looking to work some ground and pound but Cerrone has wrist control. Cerrone throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mike Tyson jr was stalling too much, according to the referee. Cerrone lands a body shot.
Cerrone lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tyson jr swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cerrone misses the body punch and Tyson jr counters with a left and a right that stings Cerrone. Tyson jr bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cerrone's head. Tyson jr stalks Cerrone and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Cerrone's face. Cerrone staggers backwards, shaken. Tyson jr getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Cerrone swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tyson jr counters with a shoot takedown. Cerrone fights it but they end up in guard. Tyson jr wants to stand and escape but instead Cerrone has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Cerrone trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Cerrone tries to stand but Tyson jr is controlling from the bottom. Cerrone pushes down on Tyson jr's leg and manages to get into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cerrone seems to be looking for submissions.
Cerrone is trying to work for a kimura but Tyson jr is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tyson jr controlling the position well. Cerrone uses his free foot to push down on Tyson jr's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tyson jr. This has been an exciting period of action! Tyson jr is trying to escape the mount.
Cerrone looking to control but Tyson jr is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Tyson jr tries to lock up and control but Cerrone gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cerrone jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tyson jr manages to avoid the submission attempt. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Tyson jr is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Cerrone wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tyson jr, who protects the arm well. Tyson jr is looking for a sweep. Tyson jr gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Cerrone trying to control from Tyson jr's half guard. Tyson jr has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Cerrone passes Tyson jr's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tyson jr slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Tyson jr keeping moving, preventing Cerrone from controlling successfully. Cerrone showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Cerrone trying to control the position from guard on top but Tyson jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cerrone stops Tyson jr from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cerrone misses the body punch and Tyson jr counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Tyson jr misses the shot to the body. Cerrone loads up on a big right hand but Tyson jr slips the punch. Cerrone defending well as Tyson jr loads up on a big left hand. Cerrone gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tyson jr counters with a series of strikes. Cerrone will be more careful next time no doubt. Tyson jr thows a body shot but no joy. Tyson jr pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cerrone cracks Tyson jr with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Cerrone moves out of range of the body kick. Cerrone shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tyson jr holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Tyson jr digs a right hand underneath Cerrone's ribcage. Cerrone let out a lung full of air as it connected. Tyson jr lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Cerrone's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cerrone fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stephen Cerrone. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cerrone wants to clinch and Tyson jr counters with a left to the body. Stephen Cerrone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Tyson jr counters with a three punch combo that has Cerrone backing up. Cerrone nods at Tyson jr to acknowledge the strikes. Cerrone throws a combination. Tyson jr tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Tyson jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cerrone with a lazy takedown attempt and Tyson jr counters with a nice uppercut. Tyson jr tries a head kick but it misses.
Cerrone loads up on a big right hand but Tyson jr slips the punch. Cerrone lands a nice looking body shot.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cerrone. Cerrone tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tyson jr was well out of range. Poor timing from Cerrone. Tyson jr misses with a low kick. Mike Tyson jr seems to be getting the better of the standup. Cerrone throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tyson jr counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Cerrone is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Tyson jr is keeping busy. Cerrone jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tyson jr walks away with a smile on his face. Cerrone gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Tyson jr lands with a right hand. Cerrone throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tyson jr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Danga de danga de dang - Tyson jr scores with a four punch combination! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tyson jr throws a chopping leg kick but Cerrone manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Tyson jr throws a series of punches but Cerrone avoids them all with ease. Cerrone tries for a takedown but Tyson jr circles away easily and Tyson jr counters with a nice uppercut. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cerrone shoots and misses and Tyson jr counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tyson jr. Cerrone tries to pull guard but Tyson jr won't allow it.

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Tyson jr as Cerrone tries to tie him up. Cerrone pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tyson jr scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Cerrone is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Tyson jr.
Cerrone is rocked! A head kick misses from Tyson jr. Oh Cerrone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cerrone has his takedown stuffed and Tyson jr scores with a counter punch that sends Cerrone to the canvas! Tyson jr smells blood - he's punishing Cerrone with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Cerrone has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
