Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dan Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Krichlenkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krichlenkov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. DaNzA KuDoRooo kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Bravo has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Igor Krichlenkov enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Bravo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Igor Krichlenkov! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krichlenkov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bravo's guard. Krichlenkov stands up from guard. Let's bang! Krichlenkov tries a head kick but it misses.
Bravo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Bravo is breathing heavily. Krichlenkov manages to pull guard.
Krichlenkov has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Bravo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Krichlenkov on the ground. Krichlenkov is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Krichlenkov wants to break free but Bravo has control.

Bravo has Krichlenkov pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Krichlenkov manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Krichlenkov slowing the pace effectively. Krichlenkov pulls guard. Krichlenkov managing to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bravo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Igor Krichlenkov has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Bravo throws a head kick but Krichlenkov moves out of range.
Krichlenkov dives in and grabs Bravo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bravo pushes down on Krichlenkov's head and hops out. Bravo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bravo avoids the head kick by Krichlenkov.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Krichlenkov shoots for a takedown but Bravo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dan Bravo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Krichlenkov. Krichlenkov darts in and clinches Bravo up against the cage. Krichlenkov tries for a takedown but Bravo manages to get underhooks.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bravo is trying to push Krichlenkov away but Krichlenkov has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Krichlenkov tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Krichlenkov is looking to break free of the clinch but Bravo has double underhooks. Krichlenkov wants to get back to striking at distance but Bravo won't allow it.

Krichlenkov gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Bravo regains guard.
Krichlenkov wants to control from the top but Bravo keeps moving. Bravo is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Krichlenkov dives into side control.
Krichlenkov stands up. Krichlenkov has his takedown stuffed and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bravo lets loose with a powerful body kick. Krichlenkov will feel that in the morning. Krichlenkov shoots in but no luck this time. Krichlenkov has his takedown stuffed and Bravo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Bravo misses with a head kick.
Krichlenkov fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bravo throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Krichlenkov has his takedown stuffed and Bravo counters with a flying knee. Nice. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Krichlenkov throws a head kick that misses and Bravo counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Krichlenkov is lucky that one didn't land flush. Bravo misses with a body kick. Krichlenkov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bravo but Bravo pushes him off and we're back to square one. Krichlenkov shoots for a double leg takedown but Bravo sprawls well. He's pushed Krichlenkov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bravo misses with a double jab.
Krichlenkov throws a right and a left that Bravo avoids nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krichlenkov shoots for a double leg takedown but Bravo sprawls well. He's pushed Krichlenkov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Dan Bravo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Krichlenkov. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Krichlenkov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bravo. Krichlenkov has a takedown stuffed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bravo connects with a high kick. Krichlenkov has a takedown stuffed. Krichlenkov has managed to clinch.
Bravo is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Krichlenkov is trying to force a seperation but Bravo has the dominant position. Bravo wants a takedown.
Bravo has Krichlenkov pressed against the cage, preventing Krichlenkov from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Bravo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bravo leaves Krichlenkov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. No joy there for Bravo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Bravo as Krichlenkov shoots in. Krichlenkov misses with a takedown and Bravo counters by clinching up. Bravo lands a good knee to the midsection. Krichlenkov won't want to take too many of those. Krichlenkov wants to break the clinch but can't.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bravo takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Bravo has Krichlenkov pressed against the cage, preventing Krichlenkov from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Bravo is stalling here.
Krichlenkov goes for a takedown attempt but Bravo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Krichlenkov slips nicely into half guard. Krichlenkov content to control rather than advance. Bravo wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dan Bravo will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Krichlenkov in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bravo tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Krichlenkov!
