Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kayaki Chonin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Padilha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chonin comes into the arena with The End is Near blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Kayaki Chonin has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kayaki Chonin! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Padilha! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Padilha avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fighters circling - Chonin throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Chonin cracks Padilha with a right hand to the side of the head. Chonin fails with an attempt to clinch.
A head kick misses from Chonin. Chonin misses with a head kick.
Chonin throws an overhand right that lands on Padilha's shoulder, as Padilha tries to avoid the shot. Padilha tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Padilha blocks a head kick by Chonin.
Chonin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Chonin throws a leg kick which misses Padilha's front leg but catches the back leg as Padilha tries to avoid it. Padilha slips a jab and a cross from Chonin.
Padilha bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Padilha shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chonin but Chonin pushes him off and we're back to square one. Chonin throws a series of punches but Padilha avoids them all with ease. Chonin tries to close the distance and clinch but Padilha swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Padilha keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Chonin.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chonin displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Chonin throws out a powerful jab.
Padilha is rocked! Padilha bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Chonin comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Padilha falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Padilha was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kayaki Chonin! Kayaki Chonin retains his lightweight title!
