Kuznetsov comes to the cage accompanied by Ленинград - К. St Peters has chosen Time By Culture Club as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nathan St Peters! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kuznetsov has his takedown stuffed so St Peters counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Kuznetsov is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kuznetsov is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because St Peters is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. St Peters working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. St Peters controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Kuznetsov is trying to control the position from the bottom.

We're going to have a standup here because Stas Kuznetsov wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kuznetsov tries to clinch but fails miserably and St Peters counters with a single leg into guard. Kuznetsov didn't expect that. St Peters connects with a couple of short punches. St Peters decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kuznetsov is bucking up trying to escape but St Peters cracks him with another couple of good strikes. St Peters takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. St Peters with a couple of short strikes. St Peters tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kuznetsov is wriggling around trying to escape.

Kuznetsov is looking to get to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. St Peters controlling from the full mount. Kuznetsov is working to get back to half guard.

Nathan St Peters showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

And that's the end of the fight! Nathan St Peters comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well St Peters has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
