Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang Strong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elvaka Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Elvaka Drago! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strong tries for a takedown but Drago circles away easily and Drago counters with a single leg into guard. Strong didn't expect that. Strong is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Drago is controlling him. Drago wants to control from the top but Strong keeps moving. Drago pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Strong is keeping the position for now. Strong wants to stand and escape but Drago is having none of it. Drago looking to pass the guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Strong closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Drago quickly recovers to half guard. Strong seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Drago wants to control but Strong is keeping busy.
Drago is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Strong pulls his head out easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Drago is trying to maintain the position but Strong is very close to passing his half guard. Strong tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Strong bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Drago is trying to control Strong's posture but Strong avoids it. Strong decides to stand back up. Strong fails with the takedown so Drago counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Strong manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Strong is breathing heavily. Strong misses with a takedown attempt so Drago counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Strong is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Drago asserts his dominance and retains side control. Strong trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Strong on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Strong tries to get out of the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Strong is not content to let Drago control the position. Strong is trying to buck Drago off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elvaka Drago dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Strong manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Drago on his heels. He'll look to pass Drago's guard now, I'm sure. Strong might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Drago trying to keep a closed guard but Strong is proving a slippery customer.
Strong trying to stand up but can't free himself from Drago's guard. Strong stands up and waves to Drago to follow him. Strong changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Drago looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Strong stands up and we're back to a striking position. Strong scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Strong wants to stand up but Drago manages to regain full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strong stands up from guard. Let's bang! Strong tries for a takedown but Drago circles away easily and Drago holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Strong has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Drago is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Drago breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Drago shoots in for a double leg but Strong sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Wolfgang Strong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Strong doesn't succeed with the takedown so Drago counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wolfgang Strong. That's going to take a lot out of him. Drago wants to control from the top but Strong keeps moving. Strong is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Drago is controlling him. Drago slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Elvaka Drago has got the better of the ground game so far.

That could mean trouble for Strong! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Strong wants to get back to his feet.
Drago is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Drago looking to control but Strong is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Drago tries to control but Strong wriggling away. Strong tries to buck Drago off but he can't manage it. Strong is trying to stand but he's just given Drago his back. Strong looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A lull in the action here.
Strong wants to get back to his feet. Drago controlling the position well here. Strong rolled but Drago kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

A close second round but Elvaka Drago will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Well, with Drago on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Strong is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Strong controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Drago struggling to keep hold of the position.

Strong is trying to get back to his feet but Drago has full control of the position and if anything, Strong has just worked his way into a worse spot. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Drago's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Strong closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Drago quickly recovers to half guard. Strong stands up and beckons Drago to join him on the feet. Strong closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Strong lands in his opponent's guard.

Strong would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Strong gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Strong throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Drago was covering up waiting for the punch and Strong finishes the takedown easily into guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Strong throws a big right hand that misses.
