Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sho Shinjo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinjo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Theme of Sho. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida darts in trying to clinch
and Shinjo counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Lyoto Machida has been cut.
Machida closes the distance looking to clinch
and Shinjo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Shinjo throws out a loose jab but Machida uses good head movement to avoid it.
Machida tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Shinjo counters with a single leg into guard. Machida didn't expect that.
Machida is rocked!
Shinjo controls from within his opponent's guard.
Oh Machida is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Machida on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Machida tries to get out of the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shinjo is pushing down on Machida's leg trying to pass to half guard. Machida is fighting to maintain full guard but Shinjo has managed to sneak the leg through.
Shinjo maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Machida could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Shinjo has cracked it and Machida is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Shinjo!
