The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Anderson on that attempt.
Anderson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Anderson persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing.
Anderson closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Anderson pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Anderson counters with a shoot takedown. Jones fights it but they end up in guard.

Jones stalks Anderson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Anderson's face. Anderson staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Ryan Anderson has been cut.
Anderson tries to clinch but Jones moves away
and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Anderson is rocked!
Jones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Jon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Anderson finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Jones's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Anderson falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
