Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muay Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Morton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thai comes to the cage accompanied by Town Called Malice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Muay Thai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carl Morton! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the body from Thai misses and Thai takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Muay Thai has been cut. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Thai, right into the meat.
Thai scores with a jab to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Morton takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Thai throws a head kick that half lands.
Thai wants to slow Morton down by chopping away at his legs. Thai throws out a leg kick but Morton moves out of range and Thai only half commits.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morton wants to clinch. Morton throws a series of punches but Thai avoids them all with ease. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Thai lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Morton has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Morton and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Thai lands a leg kick that knocks Morton off balance momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Thai lands a leg kick that knocks Morton off balance momentarily. Thai throws a sloppy head kick and Morton counters with a two punch combo. Thai tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Morton just misses with a punch to the body.
Thai throws a leg kick and Morton counters with a series of strikes. Thai will be more careful next time no doubt. Thai connects with a high kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Thai tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Morton is able to avoid easily. Thai lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Morton looks gassed! Thai throws a sloppy head kick and Morton moves out of range easily. Muay Thai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thai lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Thai chopping away at his opponent's legs.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Thai thumps Morton with a low kick. Thai throws a head kick that half lands.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A head kick misses from Thai. A head kick misses from Thai. Morton moves out of range of the leg kick from Thai. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Thai throws a head kick that Morton semi-blocks.

Muay Thai dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That has opened up Carl Morton's cut even more. A clash of legs there as Morton blocks the low kick. Thai tries a head kick but it misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Morton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Thai paws at him with a jab and circles away. Morton takes a kick to the side of the head. Thai tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. A head kick misses from Thai. Thai throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Good leg kick by Thai there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

No joy there for Morton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Morton's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Thai throws a leg kick that misses. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Thai, right into the meat.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Thai dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Morton. That did some damage! Thai plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Thai misses with a head kick.
Thai is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Morton can do to turn this around? Thai tries to land a leg kick but Morton saw it coming and moves away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Thai pulls out of a head kick attempt.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Morton missing with a left hand there. Thai was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Thai throws a leg kick but Morton checks it. Thai throws a sloppy head kick and Morton counters with a stiff right hand. Thai misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morton takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Thai thows a leg kick but Morton checks it letting Morton counter with a right hand. Thai feints and then cracks Morton's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Morton down. Morton takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Morton throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Thai throws a front kick aimed at Morton's knee but Morton avoids it well. Muay Thai is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thai tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Morton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Thai. A bone on bone clash there as Morton blocks the leg kick.

Carl Morton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Thai walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Morton checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morton checks a low kick from Thai. Morton listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Muay Thai is winning the standup battle so far. Thai tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Morton cracks Thai with a right hand to the side of the head. Thai lands with a kick to the temple. Morton shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Thai throws a sloppy head kick and Morton moves out of range easily. Carl Morton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Muay Thai's cut is getting worse. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Morton might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Thai has got the better of the exchanges. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Thai throws a head kick that misses. Morton throws a right and a left that both miss. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Morton keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

And that's the end of the fight! Carl Morton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Thai has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
