Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian Seed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seed has chosen Shatner of the Mount as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cain Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ian Seed! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith with a poor takedown so Seed counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Seed preventing the sweep. Seed stops Smith from standing up. Smith keeping full guard, as Seed tries to pass. Seed postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Smith is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Seed, into his guard. Smith with a nice head shot there. Seed throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Smith escapes and throws Seed's legs to the side, diving into side control! Seed tries to buck Smith off but Smith is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith working the ground and pound but Seed is defending the strikes. Seed is not content to let Smith control the position. Smith lands a few punches from side control. Seed takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Smith stands up and we're back to a striking position. Seed tries for a takedown but Smith circles away easily and Smith counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Smith throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seed is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Smith scores with a couple of nice shots. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Seed can do anything to dispel that myth. Smith lands strikes from half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Seed is staying active underneath Smith, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Seed keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Seed tries to roll over but Smith keeps him under control. Smith is trying to control the action in half guard but Seed is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Smith wants to get back to his feet.
Smith has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Smith tries to pass to full mount but Seed defends it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith content to control rather than advance. Smith seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Seed does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Cain Smith. Smith dives in and scores a takedown into Seed's guard. Smith is working Seed over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Smith working some strikes from top position. Smith's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Smith stands up over Seed, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Seed keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully. Smith controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Smith looking to sit in guard and control but Seed gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Smith keeping moving, preventing Seed from controlling successfully. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Seed stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smith swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cain Smith dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Smith tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Seed is able to avoid easily. Smith scores a takedown into full mount! Seed working to try and regain half guard.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Smith here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Smith trying to control but Seed is having none of it. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Smith lands a nice shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Smith wants to control the pace but Seed is squirming around nicely. Smith is really struggling to control Seed but he's trying to hold on to the position. Smith pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Smith raining down hammerfists from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith lands a big elbow - Seed is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Seed is forced to tap out!
