Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Abel Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Stephen Cook!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris clobbers Cook with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Harris jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cook throws a nice looking combination but Harris bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Harris throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cook sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Cook scores with a spinning back kick!
Harris misses with a double jab
and Cook counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Harris down! Cook is looking to finish but Harris is intelligently defending himself.
Harris is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Harris working a defensive guard but Cook passes into half guard.
Oh Harris is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Harris has hold of Cook's hands but Cook slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Harris wants to get back to his feet.
Cook stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
No joy there for Cook, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Harris throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Cook counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Harris to take - he tumbles to the cavas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Cook!
