Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mikolaj Rej!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poep with a lazy takedown attempt
and Rej moves into the clinch.
Rej breaks the clinch.
Poep tries for a takedown but Rej circles away easily
and Rej counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Poep drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Poep is looking to take a break and control but Rej is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Poep is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Rej is trying to escape and Poep transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Rej is forced to tap! Nice work there by Poep! Very nice indeed!
