Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barbara Boxer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Doe!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Boxer counters with a low kick, right behind Doe 's knee.
Boxer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Boxer swings widly with a right hand
and Doe counters with a nice body shot.
Boxer misses with a looping left.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boxer gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jon Doe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Boxer takes a swing at Doe's ribcage but misses.
No luck for Boxer with that takedown attempt.
Boxer rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Boxer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Boxer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Doe.
Boxer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Doe connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Boxer scrambles back to his feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Boxer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Doe.

Boxer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Doe.

and Doe counters with a left to the body.
Boxer ducks under a wild hook from Doe.

Doe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Boxer is looking to clinch but Doe is avoiding it.
A swing and a miss from Doe.
Doe misses with a hook to the body
and Boxer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Doe misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Boxer counters with an outside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boxer throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

and Boxer lands a stunning uppercut that sends Doe to the mat!

Boxer thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Doe keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Doe has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boxer is working away from the top position though.
Boxer thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Doe's head.
Boxer is thwarting Doe's attempts to control the position.

Boxer not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Boxer sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Doe defending well though.
Boxer not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Boxer thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Doe regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Boxer.
Boxer in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boxer postures up in Doe's guard and throws a big left but Doe blocks it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Barbara Boxer dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Doe cracks Boxer with a right hand to the side of the head.
Doe misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Doe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Boxer throws a sloppy body shot
and Doe counters with a nice body shot.

Doe throws a lazy right hand but Boxer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Boxer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Boxer has a takedown stuffed.
Boxer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Doe.

A looping hook to the body misses from Doe. Boxer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Boxer on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Doe misses with a jab to the body
and Boxer counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boxer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Doe counters with a straight right hand.
Doe swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Boxer lands a right hook to the body.
Barbara Boxer is winning the standup battle so far.
Boxer misses with the body kick
letting Doe counter with a right hand.
A big right from Boxer misses.
Doe throws a predictable looking body shot
and Boxer makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Doe really felt that one!

And that's the end of the fight!
Barbara Boxer showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Boxer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
