Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Becker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Trent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Becker comes to the cage accompanied by 2nd Sucks- A Day to Remember. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gabriel Becker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mark Trent!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trent slips a straight right by Becker.
Trent throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling Becker to counter with a crisp jab.
Trent misses the body punch
and Becker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Trent swings for the body but Becker moves out of range.
Becker lands a body shot.
Trent scores with a body shot.
Becker digs a good hook to Trent's body.
Trent misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Trent swings away with a body shot that misses
letting Becker counter with a right hand.
Trent gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Becker counters with a body kick.
Becker looks to land a left hand but Trent moved out of range nicely.

Trent stuffs the takedown.
Becker misses with a shot to the body
and Trent cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Trent throws a right hand that misses
and Becker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Becker swings for the body but Trent moves out of range.
Donk. Becker catches Trent right on the button with a cross.
Trent swings away with a body shot that misses
and Trent takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Becker throws an off balance right hand
and Trent counters with a stiff right hand.
Trent tries for a takedown but Becker circles away easily
and Becker counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Trent looks gassed!
Trent has his takedown stuffed
and Becker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Gabriel Becker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Trent.

Trent misses with a lunging right hand
and Becker counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Trent shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Becker counters with a nice uppercut.
Trent throws a predictable looking body shot
and Becker counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Trent throws an off balance right hand
and Becker counters with a nice low kick that buckles Trent's knee momentarily.
Becker shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Trent eats them both and turns towards Becker to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Becker throws a big shot that misses.
Trent takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Trent throws a lazy uppercut
and Becker makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Trent takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Becker ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Trent takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Trent throws an off balance right hand
and Becker counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Trent fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Trent misses with a shot to the body
and Becker counters with a right hand to the body.
Trent moves forwards but Becker connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Becker misses with a head kick.
Becker lands a jab to the head.
Trent dodges the punch combination from Becker.
Becker lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Trent throws a right hand that misses
and Becker counters with a straight right hand.
Becker feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Trent's calf.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Trent misses with a jab to the body
and Becker counters with a nice body shot.
Trent is trying desperately to land a takedown but Becker is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Trent.
Becker thumps Trent with a low kick.

Trent throws a predictable looking body shot
and Becker connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Becker feints and then cracks Trent's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Trent down.
Trent has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Trent there as he acknowledges the shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


A lazy left from Becker finds it's target.
Trent rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Becker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Becker is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Trent misses with a jab to the body
and Becker counters with a nice uppercut.
Becker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Becker scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Becker thows a body shot but no joy.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Trent might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Becker has got the better of the exchanges.

Becker is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Trent can do to turn this around?

Trent has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Becker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Trent manages to avoid it.
Becker misses with an uppercut. Trent saw that one coming.
Trent is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Becker rather than just go for the knockout.

Becker takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Becker is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Trent had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Becker defends it easily.

Becker wants to control from the top but Trent keeps moving.
Becker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Trent utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Trent has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Becker has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Trent is proving hard to escape from.
Trent has momentary wrist control but Becker slips an elbow through the middle.

Becker won't allow Trent to sweep him here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Becker sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Trent's guard.
Trent slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Becker with a flurry of punches that miss.
Becker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Trent looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Becker wants to pass the guard but Trent is keeping the position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Becker seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Trent does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Becker tries to pass to full mount but Trent defends it.
Becker landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Trent is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Becker seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Becker lands a nice short elbow.
Trent tries to roll over but Becker keeps him under control.
Becker thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Trent's head.
Trent on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Trent is looking for a sweep. Becker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Gabriel Becker showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Becker has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
