Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pumola Chang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Joo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pumola Chang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Joo! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joo is looking to chop away at Chang's legs. Joo scoring well with a low kick there.
Joo throws a quick inside leg kick. An inside leg kick from Joo misses. Chang changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Joo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Chang lands some shots froms side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Joo pushes Chang away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Chang gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Joo on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Joo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Joo is trying to escape the position but Chang is controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Joo is working to avoid the ground and pound but Chang connects with a decent elbow.
Joo is rocked! Chang scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Joo is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Chang can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pumola Chang!
