Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donald Cerrone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gloi Fridleifsdottir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gloi Fridleifsdottir! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cerrone scores with a jab. Fridleifsdottir acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Cerrone getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Cerrone rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Fridleifsdottir counters with a nice double leg into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cerrone throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Donald Cerrone wasn't doing enough on the ground. Cerrone misses with an uppercut
and Fridleifsdottir counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cerrone won't be happy with that. Fridleifsdottir looks up at the clock and then as Cerrone takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Fridleifsdottir smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fridleifsdottir wants to clinch up but Cerrone keeps it at a distance. Donald Cerrone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fridleifsdottir closes the distance looking to clinch and Cerrone counters with a stiff right hand. Cerrone gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fridleifsdottir to score an easy takedown into full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cerrone preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Cerrone manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fridleifsdottir manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cerrone would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Fridleifsdottir avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Fridleifsdottir throws his legs up looking for a submission but Cerrone uses it to pass to side control.
Cerrone wants to control but Fridleifsdottir is keeping him busy. Fridleifsdottir struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fridleifsdottir is not content to let Cerrone control the position. Cerrone advances to full mount. Cerrone trying to control but Fridleifsdottir is having none of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Gloi Fridleifsdottir will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Fridleifsdottir shoots in and bounces Cerrone off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fridleifsdottir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cerrone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cerrone is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Fridleifsdottir cracks Cerrone with a solid left hand. Cerrone is looking for a triangle but Fridleifsdottir pushes his legs off easily.
Fridleifsdottir decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cerrone, up you get!
That's one minute gone in the round. Cerrone slips a jab from Fridleifsdottir. Excellent takedown into side control there by Fridleifsdottir. Fridleifsdottir misses with the ground and pound. You can see the frustration on Cerrone's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Cerrone tries to buck Fridleifsdottir off but Fridleifsdottir is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fridleifsdottir working away. Fridleifsdottir trying to control the action but Cerrone is working from the bottom. Fridleifsdottir is trying to get an arm triangle but Cerrone is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cerrone is not content to let Fridleifsdottir control the position. Cerrone wants to control but Fridleifsdottir postures up. Cerrone tries to escape but Fridleifsdottir is in control. Fridleifsdottir decides to take the fight back to the feet. Fridleifsdottir displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cerrone throws out the jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cerrone paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Fridleifsdottir's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Fridleifsdottir duly obliges. Cerrone throws a lazy uppercut
so Fridleifsdottir counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Fridleifsdottir's corner is telling him to maintain position. Fridleifsdottir trying to control the position from guard on top but Cerrone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fridleifsdottir gets to his feet. Cerrone looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The fighters circling - Cerrone throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Cerrone connects with a jab. Cerrone throws a nice looking combination but Fridleifsdottir bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Cerrone misses with a hook to the body
and Fridleifsdottir counters with a single leg into guard. Cerrone didn't expect that. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fridleifsdottir preventing the sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fridleifsdottir with a flurry of punches that miss. Fridleifsdottir throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cerrone works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Fridleifsdottir engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Fridleifsdottir looking to pass the guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cerrone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fridleifsdottir can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gloi Fridleifsdottir showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Cerrone takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Donald Cerrone has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fridleifsdottir takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
