Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aoki King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Finnigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the ring accompanied by I'm on a boat. Brad Finnigan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aoki King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brad Finnigan ! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Finnigan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says King as he avoids it easily. King throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Finnigan sees it coming and avoids it easily. Finnigan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Finnigan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Finnigan trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Finnigan sitting in guard, not really doing much. Finnigan looks gassed! King throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Finnigan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of King is proving hard to escape from. King managing to control the position. King looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Finnigan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Finnigan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as King controls the pace. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Finnigan can do anything to dispel that myth. King slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. King tries for a kimura but Finnigan is defending well. Finnigan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Finnigan on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Finnigan tries to get back to half guard but can't. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. King trying to control the position but Finnigan is working away. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. King wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Finnigan , who protects the arm well. King is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Finnigan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Finnigan is trying to escape and get back to his feet. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King working away. King wants to lay and pray for a moment but Finnigan keeps working. King working the ground and pound. King is chipping away with strikes.
King has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Finnigan ! Finnigan wants to control but King is having none of it. King trying to control but he's not successful this time. King controlling his opponent. King fails to take his opponent's back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Finnigan is in a horrible position here. King smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
King breaks from Finnigan 's wrist control and lands an elbow. Finnigan in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Finnigan is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, King has taken his back.
Finnigan is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
King connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Finnigan to escape the position.
King is not going to allow Finnigan to sit and survive in this position. King has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. King working for a choke but Finnigan is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aoki King dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Finnigan clinches up with King and pushes him back against the ropes. Finnigan landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Finnigan wants a takedown but no success here.
King tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Finnigan smiles and moves away.

Finnigan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. King won't allow Finnigan to sweep him here. Finnigan wants to stand but King is controlling the position. Aoki King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Finnigan is trying to control the position but King postures up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. King wants to control from the top but Finnigan keeps moving. King drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and King jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. King wants to control from the top but Finnigan keeps moving.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Finnigan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in King's guard. King working for a triangle but Finnigan defends it easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. King has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Finnigan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. King is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Finnigan has his hands clasped together but King extends an breaks Finnigan 's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by King.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Aoki King!
