Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shackeel Oneal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jim Jones will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shackeel Oneal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jim Jones! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones fails with a takedown attempt. Oneal shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well. Oneal tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Oneal somewhat. Nice takedown defense from Oneal. No joy for Jones on that attempt. Jones tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Oneal holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones tries to land knees in the clinch but Oneal avoids the damage to the body. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Oneal gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Oneal wants a takedown.

Oneal escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jones fails with the takedown and Oneal counters with a leg kick. Jones looks for the body kick but Oneal saw that one coming. Jones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Oneal sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jones wants to clinch and Oneal holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Oneal tries to break free but Jones pushes him back against the cage.

Oneal has picked Jones up - he's going for a ride! Oneal dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Oneal is breathing heavily. Oneal looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Oneal looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Oneal prevents Jones from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Oneal missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oneal sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jones defending well though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oneal is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jones trying to control from the bottom.
Jones pushes Oneal off looking to stand but Oneal dives back in and keeps control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Jones doesn't succeed with the takedown and Oneal counters with a nice leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jones uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Oneal. Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A head kick misses from Jones. Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Oneal sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat. Jones shoots in for a takedown but Oneal shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jim Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jones closes the distance looking to clinch and Oneal counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Oneal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shackeel Oneal dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jones tries to clinch and Oneal counters with a straight right hand. Oneal stuffs the takedown. Shackeel Oneal is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. An inside leg kick from Jones misses. Oneal takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Oneal takes a shot right to the bread basket. Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jones scores with a leg kick.

It looks like Shackeel Oneal has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones has a takedown stuffed. Shackeel Oneal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Jones. Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Oneal. Jones throws a combination. Oneal tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Jones shoots in but Oneal avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Oneal tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Oneal to the ground. Oneal escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jones lands a body shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jones shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Oneal eats them both and turns towards Jones to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Oneal as Jones shoots in. Jones shoots in but no luck this time. Oneal slaps away a takedown attempt from Jones, before circling back to the center of the mat. Oneal keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jones moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to slow Oneal down by chopping away at his legs. Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Nope, Oneal circles away and we're back to standing. Jones shoots in but no luck this time. Jones shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Oneal counters by clinching up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Oneal breaks the clinch.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jones shoots in for a takedown but Oneal shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jones throws a head kick that misses. Oneal throws a shot to the body.
Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Oneal, before circling back to the center of the mat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oneal swats him away and circles back towards the center. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Shackeel Oneal's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Jones works on Oneal's body with a couple of short punches. Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Oneal walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Oneal closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Oneal pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Oneal moves out of range easily. Jones scores with a shot to the body.
Jim Jones seems to be getting the better of the standup. Jones tries to clinch but Oneal is having none of it. Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Oneal manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jones shoots in for a takedown but Oneal shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Oneal misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jones tries to clinch there but Oneal circles away.
Oneal takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Oneal keeps the fight on the outside. Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Oneal. Oneal stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet. Jones tries for a takedown but Oneal sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jim Jones. I think Jones has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
