And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Commodore Perry!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zwerschke ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Zwerschke fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Zwerschke is breathing heavily.
Perry lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Perry escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Perry rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zwerschke moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Perry closes the distance and clinches.
Perry lands a nice elbow.
Perry lands a body punch in the clinch.
Zwerschke throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Perry's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Perry makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Perry feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Zwerschke's calf.

Zwerschke is rocked!
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Perry.
Oh Zwerschke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Perry escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Perry fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Zwerschke to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Zwerschke looks to clinch but Perry throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Zwerschke taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Commodore Perry!
