Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Dexter!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson with a lazy takedown attempt
and Dexter counters with a nice leg kick.

Jackson rushes Dexter and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Dexter gets control of Jackson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dexter will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Jackson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dexter works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jackson wants to control from the top but Dexter keeps moving.
Jackson with a flurry of punches that miss.
Jackson looking to sit in guard and control but Dexter gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

We're going to have a standup here because Terry Jackson wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Dexter closes the distance and pushes Jackson back into the ropes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dexter is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Jackson tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Dexter manages to move to mount!

Dexter closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jackson is looking to control Dexter's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jackson avoid being mounted?

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Terry Jackson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Dexter.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Dexter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dexter has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Dexter bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Dexter shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Dexter was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Rob Dexter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Jackson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Dexter wants to free his trapped foot but Jackson is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Dexter gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Dexter stands and steps away. Jackson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Rob Dexter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dexter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
