Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Nut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, John Clark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Terry Nut! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clark looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nut is fending him off so far but Clark persists. Nope, Nut circles away and we're back to standing. Nut looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Clark dodges the punch combination from Nut.
Nut misses with a combination
and Clark counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Clark thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Clark tries to pass the half guard into mount. Nut knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Clark missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Clark is trying to control. Nut wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Clark is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Nut defends it well. Clark is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Clark has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Clark scoring with strikes to the body and head. Clark throwing shots but Nut is blocking nicely. Clark is working for a submission of some sort.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Nut is looking to escape. Clark content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Clark trying to pass the guard but Nut defending well. Clark keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Nut is staying active underneath Clark, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Clark controlling the pace. Nut is refusing to be controlled, as Clark sits in half guard.

We're going to have a standup here because John Clark wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Clark defending well as Nut loads up on a big left hand. Nut misses with a double jab
and Clark counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nut won't be happy with that. Nut is not content to let Clark control the position. Clark tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Clark has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Clark stands up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clark tries for a takedown but Nut circles away easily letting Nut counter with a right hand. Clark fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Clark. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nut throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Clark counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Clark wants to control from the top but Nut keeps moving. Clark thows a big elbow that misses. Clark won't allow Nut to get back to his feet. Nut is working an open guard so Clark takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Clark shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Nut tries to kick Clark off in order to stand up. Clark Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Clark dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Clark fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Nut to the ground. Clark is now in Nut's guard. Nut wants to stand but Clark is controlling the position. Clark controls from within his opponent's guard. Clark trying to control the position from guard on top but Nut is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Clark pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nut is keeping the position for now. Nut is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Nut is breathing heavily. Clark postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. John Clark overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nut can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Clark controls the pace.
John Clark has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Clark shoots in for a takedown but Nut shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Clark shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nut napping and manages to drive through into side control! Clark grinds an elbow into Nut's temple. Clark remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Nut is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Clark working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clark in side control, throwing shots but Nut defends. Clark throws a strike aimed at the side of Nut's head but Nut avoids it well. Nut is letting Clark control him for a moment. The strikes coming from Clark are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Clark throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Clark fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Clark stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nut throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Clark. Clark drives through with a takedown into Nut's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Clark trying to control the position from guard on top but Nut is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Clark showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Nut utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Clark stays in close to Nut's body and controls the position. Nut keeping moving, preventing Clark from controlling successfully.

John Clark dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Clark is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nut is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Clark thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Clark misses with the ground and pound. Clark sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Nut is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Clark is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nut knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Clark tries for a kimura. That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Nut is pushing Clark's head away, looking to escape. Clark manages to hold on to the position though. Clark landing strikes. An elbow from Clark crashes against the mat.
John Clark is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Nut wants to get back to his feet. Clark is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nut knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Terry Nut has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nut seems a little lost for a moment, as Clark dominates the positioning. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Clark is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Nut looks calm but he's in trouble here. Clark gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Nut is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Clark lets go of the hold and Nut can pop his arm back in it's socket.
