Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Uzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rene Schweidler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schweidler has chosen IZ as his entrance music. Rene Schweidler has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kurt Uzi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kurt Uzi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rene Schweidler! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slapping leg kick lands for Schweidler.
Schweidler pivots, looking for a leg kick but Uzi is out of range and Schweidler settles back down. Uzi checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Some bone on bone action there as Uzi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Uzi shoots in looking for a takedown. Schweidler tries to sprawl out of it but Uzi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Schweidler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Uzi blocks a head kick by Schweidler.
Uzi shoots for a takedown but Schweidler saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Schweidler throws a leg kick but Uzi sees it coming and moves out of range. Uzi feints and as Schweidler raises his hands in defense, Uzi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Schweidler keeping moving, preventing Uzi from controlling successfully. Uzi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Uzi is looking to work some ground and pound but Schweidler has wrist control. Uzi chips away with some ground and pound.
It looks like Rene Schweidler has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uzi trying to control but Schweidler is working from the bottom. Uzi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Uzi trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Schweidler manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Schweidler trying to control but Uzi is working from the bottom. Schweidler wants to stand but Uzi has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Schweidler's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Rene Schweidler has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Schweidler throws a low kick, looking for Uzi's leg but Uzi calmly moves out of range. Schweidler lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Uzi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Schweidler circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kurt Uzi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Schweidler throws a nice inside leg kick. Rene Schweidler is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Schweidler lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Kurt Uzi has been cut. Uzi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Schweidler was covering up waiting for the punch and Uzi finishes the takedown easily into guard. Schweidler not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uzi wants to pass the guard but Schweidler is keeping the position. Schweidler wants to stand but Uzi is controlling the position. Uzi throwing strikes from guard but Schweidler blocks nicely. Uzi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Schweidler swivels though and keeps the full guard. Uzi has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Uzi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Uzi wants to control from the top but Schweidler keeps moving. Schweidler manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Schweidler tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Uzi manages to regain half guard. Good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rene Schweidler will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Uzi closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Schweidler quickly recovers to half guard. Schweidler is trying to control but can't.
Uzi wants to pass to mount but Schweidler is defending the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Uzi trying to control from half guard but Schweidler is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Uzi looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Uzi thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Schweidler to regain full guard. Schweidler wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Uzi manages to pass to side control. Uzi uses his free foot to push down on Schweidler's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Schweidler.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schweidler tries to hold on but Uzi postures up. Schweidler is trying to stand. Schweidler is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Schweidler wants to control but Uzi is having none of it. Poor strikes thrown by Uzi there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Schweidler really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Uzi with a couple of short strikes. Schweidler is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Uzi misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

That has opened up Rene Schweidler's cut even more. Kurt Uzi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Uzi cracks Schweidler with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rene Schweidler's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rene Schweidler's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kurt Uzi!
