Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John The Pitbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Pitbull's entrance music is Three 6 Mafia - It's a Fight. A fine choice. Miller is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ice Cube - Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, John The Pitbull! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcus Miller! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and The Pitbull makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Miller swinging wildly here.
Miller is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by The Pitbull. The Pitbull swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Miller counters with a left and a right that stings The Pitbull. Nice shot by Miller.
It looks like John The Pitbull has been cut. Miller rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and The Pitbull counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice defenses there by Miller. The Pitbull pushes Miller up against the cage in a clinch.

The Pitbull blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Miller effectively controlling the action here. The Pitbull has hold of one of Miller's legs. Miller is fighting the takedown attempt but The Pitbull gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. The Pitbull decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Miller, up you get! A combination from The Pitbull does no damage. Miller changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Miller fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and The Pitbull counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Miller thinking. Marcus Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Pitbull moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller tries to land knees in the clinch but The Pitbull avoids the damage to the body. The Pitbull lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Miller. This has been an exciting period of action! Miller is trying to push The Pitbull away but The Pitbull has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Miller lands a left hand that snaps the head of The Pitbull backwards. The Pitbull changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Miller fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The Pitbull fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Miller darts in trying to clinch and The Pitbull counters with a three punch combo that has Miller backing up. Miller nods at The Pitbull to acknowledge the strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller misses with a double jab.
The Pitbull clinches up with Miller and pushes him back against the cage. The Pitbull drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Miller gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John The Pitbull. That's going to take a lot out of him. The Pitbull can't get the takedown.
Miller pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. The Pitbull has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Miller avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. The Pitbull has Miller pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. The Pitbull pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Miller tumbling to the mat - The Pitbull dives into Miller's guard. Miller wriggles free and stands up. The Pitbull rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miller moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Pitbull tries to keep at a distance but Miller has taken the fight into the clinch. Miller pushes The Pitbull back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. The Pitbull looking for a takedown. The Pitbull has picked Miller up - he's going for a ride! The Pitbull dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The Pitbull controlling the action here. The Pitbull prevents Miller from standing back up.
The Pitbull is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Miller is looking to control The Pitbull's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Miller avoid being mounted? As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Miller is trying to stand up here but The Pitbull is controlling him well. The Pitbull is trying to control. Miller wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Miller. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John The Pitbull dominated that round. The cut man is working on John The Pitbull's cut. That's time! Back to the action!

The Pitbull throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Miller tries to clinch up and The Pitbull counters with a nice double leg into guard. Miller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but The Pitbull can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The Pitbull stands up from Miller's guard - The Pitbull perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Pitbull throws a combination that misses and Miller counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Miller. Miller is trying to force a seperation but The Pitbull has the dominant position. Miller wants to stall.
Miller manages to break the clinch.
Miller throws a series of punches but The Pitbull avoids them all with ease. Miller throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and The Pitbull cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A leg kick checked by Miller. The Pitbull clinches with his opponent.
The Pitbull drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The Pitbull changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Miller fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller tried to score with a low kick but The Pitbull checks it. Miller is looking to clinch. Miller tries to close the distance and clinch but The Pitbull swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Nice shot lands for Miller. The Pitbull slips a jab and a cross from Miller.
Miller will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Miller lands a nice looking kick to the body. The Pitbull takes a step back to recover. The Pitbull lands with a nice combination. Miller backs away looking to recover. The Pitbull keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The Pitbull thows a body kick. Miller tries to catch it but that hurt him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The Pitbull showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Miller.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John The Pitbull dominated that second round. The cut man is working on John The Pitbull's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Miller is looking to clinch. The Pitbull fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miller, pushing him back against the cage. The Pitbull turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and The Pitbull manages to end up in side control. The Pitbull scores with a couple of short elbows.
Miller is rocked! The Pitbull is working to tighten is grip on Miller's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Miller has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but The Pitbull is really squeezing tight and eventually Miller passes out! The Pitbull breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
