The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Star darts in trying to clinch
and Parada counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Star tries to get to full guard but Parada has control of the leg.
Parada is working for a submission of some sort.
Star is trying to stand back up but Parada is controlling him
Parada has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Parada content just to control the position here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Parada looking to isolate an arm here. Star doesn't see it coming and as Parada extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Parada!
