Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rudi Guns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Heart of a Champion. Guns has chosen diamonds and guns as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Guns with a poor takedown
and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Gracie is trying to work for a kimura but Guns is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie is trying to control the action in half guard but Guns is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Guns does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown. Guns tries to sprawl out of it but Gracie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Guns manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Royce Gracie overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Gracie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
