10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kilo Jackson! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corey Jr scores with a shot to the body.
Jackson shoots and misses and Corey Jr counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Jackson misses with a takedown attempt and Jackson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jackson shoots and misses and Corey Jr counters with a one-two to the body. Mike Corey Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kilo Jackson. Corey Jr swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Corey Jr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jackson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Corey Jr keeping full guard, as Jackson tries to pass. Jackson is fighting to break Corey Jr's control of his arms but Corey Jr is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jackson wants to pass the guard but Corey Jr is keeping the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Corey Jr is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jackson pushing down on Corey Jr's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Jackson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Jackson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Corey Jr is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Corey Jr and Jackson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Corey Jr is looking for a sweep. Jackson swings around for an armbar but Corey Jr sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jackson's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Corey Jr stays in close to Jackson's body and controls the position. Corey Jr loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Corey Jr in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jackson has his foot on Corey Jr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Corey Jr works his way back into a safe position though. Jackson working for a triangle but Corey Jr defends it easily.

Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Corey Jr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Corey Jr drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Corey Jr off! Corey Jr jumps back into Jackson's guard. Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Corey Jr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kilo Jackson will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Possibly, maybe, no Jackson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jackson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Jackson tries for a kimura but Corey Jr is defending well.

He has the arm isolated but Corey Jr is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Jackson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Corey Jr manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Jackson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Jackson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Corey Jr is trying to control the position but Jackson postures up. Jackson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Corey Jr looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Corey Jr looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Corey Jr! Corey Jr wants to control but Jackson is keeping him busy. Corey Jr remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jackson struggling a bit here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kilo Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Jackson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Corey Jr's guard. Jackson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Corey Jr dives on top into guard. Corey Jr throwing strikes but missing. Kilo Jackson has got the better of the ground game so far. Corey Jr is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Corey Jr wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving. Jackson is trying to keep Corey Jr in close.

Jackson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Corey Jr is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jackson, into his guard. Jackson has his hands on Corey Jr's head, controlling the position. Mike Corey Jr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Corey Jr trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom. Jackson pulls Corey Jr in close to his closed guard and prevents Corey Jr from doing any damage or advancing position. Corey Jr wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Corey Jr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jackson has his takedown stuffed and Corey Jr counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Corey Jr throws a series of punches but Jackson moves out of range. Jackson tries to clinch up but Corey Jr circles away and keeps his distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corey Jr cracks Jackson with an open hand slap. No luck for Jackson with that takedown attempt. Jackson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jackson looks to land a body kick but Corey Jr moved away. Jackson misses with a takedown attempt enabling Corey Jr to counter with a crisp jab. Mike Corey Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kilo Jackson. Jackson tries for a takedown but Corey Jr circles away easily and Corey Jr counters with a series of strikes. Jackson will be more careful next time no doubt. A right-left combo lands from Corey Jr. Corey Jr punishes Jackson's body with a nice straight punch. Corey Jr misses with a few strikes there.
Corey Jr feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Corey Jr is looking to stand up but Jackson won't let him. Corey Jr loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Jackson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Corey Jr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Corey Jr stopping the sweep attempt from Jackson. Corey Jr wants to stand but Jackson is controlling his posture from full guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Corey Jr's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Corey Jr tries to free his leg and advance position but Jackson is retaining full guard. Kilo Jackson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. And that's the end of the fight! Mike Corey Jr showed his dominance in that final round. I think Jackson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
