Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Halibut Halibut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tigyu Solih (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halibut comes to the cage accompanied by Peter You Suck. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Halibut Halibut!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tigyu Solih!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solih doesn't manage to clinch there - Halibut circles away.
Solih shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Solih was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Halibut is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Halibut regains half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Halibut wants to improve his position but Solih is controlling well.

Solih throwing shots but Halibut is blocking nicely.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Solih connects with a nice short shot to Halibut's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Solih wants to stand but Halibut has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Halibut connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Halibut drops his hands momentarily and Solih takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Solih decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Solih lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Halibut is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Solih scores with a couple of nice shots.
Halibut has hold of Solih's hands but Solih slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Halibut is looking for a sweep. Solih is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Halibut manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Solih must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Solih stands up and waves to Halibut to follow him.
Solih shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Halibut as he avoids it easily.
Halibut chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Solih can pounce on him.

Halibut throws a nice looking combination but Solih bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Solih throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Halibut on the side of the head.

Solih looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Halibut is fending him off so far but Solih persists. Nope, Halibut circles away and we're back to standing.

A slapping body kick lands there for Halibut.
Solih looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Halibut!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
