And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Oliveira bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Zaremba's head backwards.

Zaremba rushes Oliveira and presses him up against the cage.
Oliveira can't break the clinch.
Zaremba with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Zaremba slowing the pace effectively.
Zaremba has Oliveira pressed against the cage, preventing Oliveira from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Zaremba breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Oliveira jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Zaremba closes the distance and clinches.
Oliveira is trying to break the clinch but Zaremba has him pressed against the cage.
Oliveira blocks an elbow strike.

Zaremba manages to break the clinch.
Zaremba lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Zaremba tries to clinch up.
Zaremba shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Oliveira but Oliveira pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Zaremba instigates a clinch.
Zaremba changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Oliveira fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Oliveira on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

The fight stays on the outside here - Zaremba looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Zaremba tries to clinch there but Oliveira circles away.
Oliveira rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zaremba moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Zaremba takes the fight into the clinch.
Zaremba tries to pull guard but Oliveira holds him up against the cage and eventually Zaremba drops back down to his feet.
Vinny Oliveira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pawel Zaremba.

Zaremba breaks the clinch.
Zaremba takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Zaremba on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Zaremba looks gassed!
Oliveira stalks Zaremba and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Zaremba's face. Zaremba staggers backwards, shaken.
A nice combination there by Oliveira.

Zaremba is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zaremba looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Oliveira throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zaremba.
Danga de danga de dang - Oliveira scores with a four punch combination!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Oliveira has cracked Zaremba with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Oliveira lands another huge swinging hook and Zaremba tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Zaremba, before Oliveira can land any more shots!
