Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida misses with a jab, cross combination.
Faber has his takedown stuffed
and Machida counters with a stiff right hand.

and Machida counters with a two punch combo.
Machida lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Faber circles away quickly and effectively.
Faber shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Machida decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Faber's guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Urijah Faber. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Machida is looking to advance position but Faber has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Faber is landing with some decent strikes but Machida is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
