Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jason Jenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marc Joe will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Jenson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marc Joe! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe looks to clinch so Jenson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Joe preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jenson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Joe is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jenson defends well. Joe preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jenson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Jenson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Joe swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jenson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Jenson postures up and lands a big shot to Joe's brow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jenson landing some decent shots from guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jenson works over Joe with some ground and pound from guard. Joe working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jenson. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jenson postures up and lands a big shot to Joe's brow. Jenson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Jenson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Joe's head. Joe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jenson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jenson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Joe on the ground. Jenson throws a strike but Joe rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Jenson keeping moving, preventing Joe from controlling successfully. Jenson wants to get back to his feet but Joe is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jenson kicks Joe off and gets to his feet. Joe tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jenson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jenson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jenson throws a strike but Joe rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Joe drops back looking for a leg! Jenson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jenson manages to kick Joe off! Joe jumps back into Jenson's guard. Jenson is pulling down on Joe's head to control his posture. Jenson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Jenson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Joe stops Jenson from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jenson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Jenson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jenson holds on and takes a little breather. Jenson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jenson tries to get out of the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jason Jenson wasn't doing enough on the ground. Jenson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Joe counters with a shoot takedown. Jenson fights it but they end up in guard. Joe wants to control from the top but Jenson keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jenson wants to get back to his feet but Joe is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jenson is controlling Joe's posture. Joe wants to pass the guard but Jenson is keeping the position. Jenson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Jenson wants to sweep but no luck. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Joe looks to clinch so Jenson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jenson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Jenson dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

That's one minute gone in the round. Jenson in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Jenson working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Jenson manages to hold on to the position though. Joe is breathing heavily. Jenson works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Joe is rocked! Jenson cracks Joe with a big right hand but Joe just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Joe is still in real trouble! Can Jenson finish him? Jenson lands a strong strike to the head of Joe. That's dazed him! Jenson looking to finish here. Joe is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Jenson lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Jenson!
