Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ice Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Kositzky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kositzky is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Schwarz zu Blau. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kositzky drives through with a takedown into guard. Man has his hands on Kositzky's head, controlling the position. Kositzky preventing the sweep. Kositzky wants to get up but he can't break Man's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Man is adopting a defensive guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ice Man. Man shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kositzky counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man is trying to get back to full guard. Man keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Man trying to hold on to Kositzky's head to control him but Kositzky postures up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Man controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
We're going to have a standup here because Ice Man wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kositzky closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Man is not content to let Kositzky control the position. You can see the frustration on Man's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Man tries to control but Kositzky manages to take his back. Man holding on to Kositzky's left wrist, preventing the choke. Man trying to control the hands but Kositzky won't let him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kositzky has good solid back control here. Man wants to get back to his feet. Man just trying to survive but Kositzky is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Man is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet. Kositzky tries to close the distance and clinch but Man swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Man gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kositzky to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kositzky being controlled here momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kositzky shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Man's guard. Man keeping moving, preventing Kositzky from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Man looking to control.

Kositzky tries to reverse the position but Man maintains control. Man wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Kositzky is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Ice Man has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Kositzky looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Man!
That's one minute gone in the round. Man wants to control but Kositzky is having none of it. Man is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Man might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kositzky pushes Man off and gets back to his feet.
Kositzky has managed to clinch.
Man is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kositzky is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Man to the mat. Man regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Man wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kositzky pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Man is keeping the position for now. Man controlling Kositzky's posture.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Ice Man just wasn't active enough. Man takes the fight into the clinch. Kositzky will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Man up against the cage. Kositzky is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Man is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kositzky works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Kositzky stopping the sweep attempt from Man. Man trying to control the position.
Ice Man has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Paul Kositzky is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Man looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

And that's the end of the fight! Paul Kositzky comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kositzky has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
