Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dante Inferno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riel Dan Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Inferno's entrance music is 7 words. A fine choice. The key to victory for Dante Inferno has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Reyes misses. Reyes looks to score with a jab to the body but Inferno is just out of range. Inferno cracks Reyes with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Riel Dan Reyes has been cut. Reyes takes a shot right to the bread basket. Inferno pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reyes closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Reyes lands in his opponent's guard. Reyes throwing strikes but missing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Reyes trying to control the position from guard on top but Inferno is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reyes drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reyes jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Inferno is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Reyes with a flurry of punches that miss. Reyes not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Reyes trying to control but Inferno is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reyes stopping the sweep attempt from Inferno. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reyes distracts Inferno with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Inferno on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Inferno tries to get out of the position. Reyes won't allow Inferno to sweep him here. Reyes loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Reyes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Inferno swivels though and keeps the full guard. Reyes throwing strikes but missing. Reyes missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Reyes avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Reyes trying to control the position from guard on top but Inferno is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reyes slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Inferno keeping moving, preventing Reyes from controlling successfully. Reyes thows a big elbow that misses. Reyes loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Inferno tries to land a sweep but no joy. Inferno working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Reyes. Inferno is looking to sweep but instead, Reyes has passed into half guard.
Reyes seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Inferno does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Inferno looking for submissions off his back. Inferno tries to roll over but Reyes keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reyes seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Reyes not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Reyes is looking to take a break and control but Inferno is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Reyes throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Inferno tries to roll over but Reyes keeps him under control. Inferno has hold of Reyes's hands but Reyes slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Inferno trying to control but Reyes postures up.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Inferno is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reyes lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Inferno wants to improve his position but Reyes is controlling well.
Reyes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Reyes sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Inferno defending well though. Reyes looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Inferno with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reyes seems to be working for a kimura but Inferno defends the submission attempt. Inferno wants to get back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Inferno works his way to full guard. Good work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Inferno is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Reyes with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Reyes passes Inferno's left leg - he's now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Riel Dan Reyes dominated that round. The cut man is working on Riel Dan Reyes's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Reyes keeps the fight on the outside. Dante Inferno is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Inferno decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Reyes trying to control but Inferno postures up.
Reyes moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Reyes keeping full guard, as Inferno tries to pass. Reyes is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Reyes is on top in guard.
Reyes throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Inferno works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Riel Dan Reyes has got the better of the ground game so far. Reyes works a leg free and moves into half guard. Reyes not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reyes wants to control but Inferno is keeping him busy. Reyes works his way into full mount! Reyes putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Reyes controlling his opponent. Reyes is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Inferno can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Inferno is rocked! Reyes lands a big shot to the head and Inferno winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
