Iron Knuckles comes to the cage accompanied by That Heavenly Glory. Iron Knuckles has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Ivan Iron Knuckles has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blues uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Iron Knuckles. Iron Knuckles showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Blues.
Decent striking displayed by Iron Knuckles there. Blues throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Blues will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Blues shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blues throws some wild stikes that Iron Knuckles manages to avoid easily.

Blues controlling the position easily from mount. Iron Knuckles is bucking up trying to escape but Blues cracks him with another couple of good strikes. That's four minutes gone in the round. Blues controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Blues is landing with some decent strikes but Iron Knuckles is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blues shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Iron Knuckles pinned against the cage. Iron Knuckles gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Blues shoots in for a takedown but Iron Knuckles shows good takedown defense. Ivan Iron Knuckles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Blues. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Iron Knuckles stalks Blues and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Blues's face. Blues staggers backwards, shaken. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Blues shoots for a double leg takedown but Iron Knuckles sprawls well. He's pushed Blues's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Blues swings away with a body shot that misses
and Iron Knuckles counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Blues moves to clinch but Iron Knuckles breaks away enabling Iron Knuckles to counter with a crisp jab. Iron Knuckles lands a nice shot that snaps Blues's head back.

Blues shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Iron Knuckles pinned against the cage. Iron Knuckles gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Blues misses the body punch and Iron Knuckles counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Blues throws an off balance right hand
and Iron Knuckles counters with a stiff right hand. Iron Knuckles scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Blues is defended easily by Iron Knuckles. Blues misses with a jab to the body
and Iron Knuckles counters with a three punch combo that has Blues backing up. Blues nods at Iron Knuckles to acknowledge the strikes.

and Iron Knuckles counters with a left and a right that stings Blues. Ivan Iron Knuckles is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Blues. Iron Knuckles stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Iron Knuckles wants it to stay on the feet. Blues shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Blues showed some decent athleticism there. Blues not doing much here.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jake Blues hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Iron Knuckles misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Blues fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Iron Knuckles counters with a three punch combo that has Blues backing up. Blues nods at Iron Knuckles to acknowledge the strikes. Iron Knuckles defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Blues. Blues looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Blues doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Iron Knuckles counter with a right hand. Blues looks to land a right hand but Iron Knuckles moved out of range. Iron Knuckles jabbing away but nothing is landing. Blues shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Blues misses with a takedown attempt - Iron Knuckles sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Iron Knuckles looks to land a combination but Blues avoids it well. Blues tries to circle away but Iron Knuckles has him pinned against the cage. Iron Knuckles wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Blues tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Iron Knuckles smiles and moves away.

Iron Knuckles wants to stand and escape but Blues is having none of it. Blues postures up in Iron Knuckles's guard and throws a big left but Iron Knuckles blocks it. Blues stands up and waves to Iron Knuckles to follow him. Blues shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

and Blues counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Iron Knuckles misses with a straight left. Blues shoots and misses and Iron Knuckles counters with a one-two to the body. Iron Knuckles displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Blues. Blues looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Iron Knuckles! Iron Knuckles on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Iron Knuckles tries to get out of the position. Iron Knuckles defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Blues. Blues thowing shots but they're missing.
