Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Bosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vadim Filkinstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bosh has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Chris Bosh has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bosh looks to clinch and Filkinstein counters by moving into the clinch. Bosh is breathing heavily. Bosh tries to work over Filkinstein's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Filkinstein has hold of one of Bosh's legs. Bosh is fighting the takedown attempt but Filkinstein gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Bosh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Filkinstein doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Filkinstein manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Filkinstein slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Bosh utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The fighters are battling for position here. Filkinstein manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bosh wants to control from the top but Filkinstein keeps moving. Filkinstein manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bosh manages to get himself to full guard.

Bosh throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Filkinstein escapes and throws Bosh's legs to the side, diving into side control! Bosh tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Filkinstein is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Bosh will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Filkinstein wants to control for a moment but Bosh uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Bosh wants to improve his position but Filkinstein is controlling well.

Bosh is looking to improve his position but Filkinstein isn't that keen on the idea. Bosh tries to lock up and control but Filkinstein gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bosh keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Filkinstein trying to control but Bosh is having none of it. Bosh is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Vadim Filkinstein has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Filkinstein throws a body kick that misses. Bosh shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Filkinstein napping and manages to drive through into side control! Filkinstein tries to improve position but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Filkinstein is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bosh asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Filkinstein tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bosh wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Bosh throws a strike aimed at the side of Filkinstein's head but Filkinstein avoids it well. Bosh throws an elbow but Filkinstein slips to the side and avoids it well. Filkinstein is looking for a sweep. Filkinstein sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Filkinstein works his way to full guard. Good work. Bosh throws and elbow that misses. Filkinstein uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bosh's guard. Nice move by Filkinstein! Filkinstein would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Vadim Filkinstein comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Filkinstein has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
