Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Big Pox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pox comes to the cage accompanied by How is your whole? ....Family!. Campbell is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Steel Panther - Party all Day. Big Pox has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Big Pox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Campbell! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pox scores with a jab to the jaw. The fight stays on the outside here - Pox looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Campbell takes one on the button. Pox throws a hook but Campbell blocks it. A low kick from Pox is predictable there and Campbell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Pox tries a head kick but it misses.

and Campbell counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Pox fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pox fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Campbell. Campbell staying out of range there. Campbell throws a leg kick which misses Pox's front leg but catches the back leg as Pox tries to avoid it. Pox tries to clinch but Campbell moves out of range. Pox with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pox throws a jab but it's blocked by Campbell. A low kick from Campbell misses and Pox counters with a nice uppercut. Pox tries to clinch but Campbell moves out of range. Pox swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Campbell. Campbell misses with an uppercut
and Pox cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Campbell misses with a looping right. Campbell throws a jab when Pox was well out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A slapping body kick lands there for Pox. Pox fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Pox connects with a solid leg kick. Campbell avoids the head kick by Pox.

and Pox counters with a thumping low kick. Pox tries to bum rush Campbell with a series of wild strikes but Campbell uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pox is looking to slow Campbell down with leg kicks. A nice inside leg kick there by Pox. That's going to slow Campbell down. Pox is looking to clinch. Campbell misses with a left hand and Pox counters with a slapping leg kick. Pox lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Campbell throws the left hand but Pox avoids the punch easily. Pox tries to land a front kick but Campbell steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Big Pox dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Pox misses with a looping left. Campbell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pox manages to avoid it. Campbell getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Campbell takes a swing at Pox's ribcage but misses. Pox checks the leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pox thows a left - swing and a miss! Pox's jab looks to have found its range, popping Campbell under the eye.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pox lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Campbell at a distance.
Campbell defending well as Pox loads up on a big left hand. Campbell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pox circles away quickly and effectively. Campbell throws a leg kick but Pox sees it coming and moves out of range. Pox pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Pox throws a sloppy body shot

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Campbell slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Pox lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Campbell misses with a few strikes there.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Campbell, as that shot connected.
Pox tries to close the distance and clinch up but Campbell swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pox throws a leg kick but Campbell sees it coming and moves out of range. Pox lands a nice leg kick that just misses Campbell's sensitive parts.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Campbell throws a right and a left that Pox avoids nicely. Pox pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Pox fakes the leg kick and cracks Campbell in the body. Pox tries to close the distance and clinch but Campbell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pox looks for the body kick but Campbell saw that one coming. Campbell misses with a left hand and Pox counters with a head kick. That will keep Campbell thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Pox throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pox looks to throw the jab but Campbell is out of range. Pox throws a low kick but it's checked well by Campbell. Pox connects with a single shot there. Pox throws a poor cross that misses
and Campbell counters with a nice body kick.

Big Pox dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Pox ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Campbell moves away. Big Pox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Campbell has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Pox slips under a jab. Big Pox is winning the standup battle so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. A low kick from Campbell is predictable there and Pox counters with a thumping low kick. A looping hook to the body misses from Campbell. Pox does a little dance to reset his feet. Pox looks to score with a jab to the body but Campbell is just out of range. Pox throws a head kick that misses and Campbell counters with an outside leg kick.
Pox misses with a looping left. Campbell takes a kick to the side of the head. Pox misses with a hook. Campbell ducked under it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pox tries to clinch up but Campbell circles away and keeps his distance. Pox throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Pox throws a looping overhand right but Campbell ducks down to avoid it. Campbell misses with a double jab.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pox attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Campbell's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Campbell swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pox counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Pox throws a quick inside leg kick. Campbell misses with a series of wild punches.
Campbell throws a lazy uppercut
and Pox makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Pox stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Pox connects with an inside leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pox is looking to land body kicks. Big Pox is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Pox tries to clinch up. Pox misses with an uppercut. Campbell saw that one coming. Campbell has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Campbell blocks a jab. Pox clobbers Campbell with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
And that's the end of the fight! Big Pox showed his dominance in that final round. Well Pox has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
