The crowd seem to be enjoying Hunt's choice of entrance music: Lose Yourself. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt misses with a left hand
and Abodo counters with a thumping low kick.
Hunt has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hunt there as he acknowledges the shot.
Hunt rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Abodo moves into the clinch.
Hunt tries to break the clinch but Abodo is controlling the position.
Abodo landing knees to the head.
It looks like Titanic Hunt has been cut.
Hunt takes an elbow to the forehead.
Abodo pressing his opponent against the cage.
Abodo lands a knee to the head.
Hunt wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hunt takes an elbow to the temple.
Abodo lands a nice elbow.
Abodo lands an elbow inside that Hunt shrugs off.
That has opened up Titanic Hunt's cut even more.
Hunt stops a takedown attempt from Abodo.
Abodo lands a good knee to the midsection. Hunt won't want to take too many of those.
Hunt looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Abodo lands a damaging elbow.
Abodo connects with a nasty looking knee right to Hunt's face.
The cut above Titanic Hunt's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Abodo connects with a knee to the head.
Hunt is rocked!

Abodo is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Hunt is still on wobbly legs! Can Abodo finish him?
Abodo has Hunt pressed against the cage. He pushes Hunt back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Abodo throws a beautiful elbow that sends Hunt crashing to the floor! Abodo piles on the pressure with more strikes! Hunt is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hugo Abodo!
