Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spandex Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Master might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Scars. Ray Master has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Ray Master! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Spandex Rex! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rex scores with a three punch combo!
Master misses with a left hand and Rex connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Master throws a poor cross that misses
and Rex counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Master throws a low kick but Rex avoids it. Rex lands a jab to Master's midsection. Master moves into range and clinches up with Rex. A nice left hand lands by Rex.
Rex lands on the inside with an uppercut. Good body shot from Rex.
Rex lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Rex prevents the takedown attempt.
Rex has a couple of punches blocked by Master.
Rex blocks an elbow strike. A shot in the inside from Rex. Master scores a nice knee to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Master is working for takedown but Rex is calmly controlling the position for now. Master pushes off an throws an elbow but Rex leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Rex fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Master wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ray Master. That's going to take a lot out of him. Master can't find room to land a body shot as Rex controls the action.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Rex jumps guard and drags Master to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Master stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rex swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rex bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Master's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Master wants to sweep but no luck. Rex advances to half guard. Master is breathing heavily. Rex missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Rex winds up and cracks Master with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Rex sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Master defending well though. Rex is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Master still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Master has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Rex is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Master's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. The fighters are battling for position here. Rex manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Master has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Rex working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Master doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Master manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Rex manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Master manages to get himself to full guard.
Rex has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rex throwing strikes from guard but Master blocks nicely. Rex tries to free his leg and advance position but Master is retaining full guard. Rex missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Master lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rex! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Master prevents Rex from getting the reversal. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Master raining down hammerfists from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rex wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Master.
Rex is in all sorts of trouble here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Master looking to control but Rex is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Rex is working to get back to half guard.
Rex gets back to half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Rex manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Rex is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Master looking to sit in guard and control but Rex gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Rex pushing down on Master's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Master knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rex on the ground. Rex throwing shots but Master is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rex tries to pass the half guard into mount. Master knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Rex thows a huge punch but Master dodges it nicely.
Rex sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Master defending well though. Rex working over Master with some ground and pound. Master looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Rex controlling the pace. Rex stands up from half guard. Master throws a low kick but Rex avoids it. Ray Master seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Master is looking to chop away at Rex's legs. Master dips down and scores with a jab to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Spandex Rex dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rex keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Master moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Rex lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Master circles away quickly and effectively. Master throws an off balance right hand
and Rex counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Master clinches up with Rex and pushes him back against the cage. Rex tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Rex makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Rex digs a right hand into Master's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Master's gas tank. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Rex. Rex gets underhooks to prevent Master's takedown attempt.
Rex tries to score a body lock takedown but Master shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Rex gets control of Master's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rex will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Rex is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rex is adopting a defensive guard. Master trying to control the position from guard on top but Rex is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Master looking to pass the guard. Rex is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Rex holds on and takes a little breather. Rex wants to sweep here but Master controlling him for the moment. Rex throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Master trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rex pulls Master in close to prevent any damage. Master is posturing up here but Rex has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Master tries to roll out but it's too tight and Master has to tap! Slick submission there by Rex!
